Relationship Matters More Than We Think

Relationship Matters More Than We Think

This past Friday, I attended a funeral where I saw a lot of family members I hadn’t seen in a long time. While it was a very sad occasion, it was also a reminder of how valuable it is to simply be around each other (or together).

As I stood there looking around, I realized something; we are all living in our own little bubbles of life. In general, everyone is trying their best to get through, regardless of what’s happening in the world or behind closed doors.

I realized I have to do better—because you never truly know how much of a difference you can make in someone’s life. If your a Christian like me, we are called to be the light. Sometimes, you may be the only light a person encounters. You never know what struggles someone is facing when no one else is around, and you never know how a few words of encouragement from a call or text might impact someone. A simple phone call, a quick check-in or a genuine “I’m praying for you.”

It doesn’t take much to make a five-minute call, or send a text that may change someone’s mindset—or even their direction.

Too often we say, “I’ll reach out” or “Let’s stay in touch,” and never do it.  The Bible calls us to be intentional. Relationships thrive when we follow through.

Scripture reminds us that relationships are part of God’s design. God said it was not good for us to be alone:

Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him. Genesis 2:18.

We were never meant to live isolated lives. Family, friendships, and (church) community are not extras; they are woven into God’s plan for connection, growth, and support.

Our relationship with Jesus is the primary way people connect with God. Through how we love, speak, forgive, and show grace, others see Him. That’s why Jesus tells us to seek God first:

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. Matthew 6:33

When Christ is at the center, our relationships become places of healing instead of harm. This also means loving people even when we don’t agree with their lifestyle or the way they move through life. The Bible doesn’t call us to approve of everything, it calls us to love faithfully.

Staying connected, offering encouragement, and showing genuine care can make an eternal difference. You never know how God is working when you send that text, or make a quick call.

We should never take this life or our relationships for granted. God uses relationships to sharpen us, mature us, and reflect His heart to others.

As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend. Proverbs 27:17

When that person pops into your mind, give them a call or just shoot them a text. You may be the light someone desperately needs.

Let’s Pray. Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for designing us for connection and community. Help us not to take our relationships for granted. Give us sensitive hearts to see people the way You see them and give me the courage to reach out with love and encouragement. Teach us to be Your light in dark places and to reflect Jesus in how we care for others. Use our words, our time, and our presence to make a difference in someone’s life today. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.

New Year, Deeper Dependence

New Year, Deeper Dependence

Every New Year,  a lot of us  set resolutions;  eat better, work harder, pray more, stress less. None of those goals are wrong. But many of them fail because they’re built on self-effort instead of spiritual dependence.

This year change your mindset. Reframe your resolution as dependence, not determination.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.

6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5–6

A resolution without dependence turns into pressure.  Remember where our true strength comes from. A resolution with Jesus turns into partnership.

Jesus never said, “Set better goals.” He said, “Remain in Me.”

Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5

Instead of thinking:  →  think:

I will do better → I will depend more

I will push harder → I will pray first

I will figure it out → I will follow Christ

I will not fail again → I will remain in Him

A New Year doesn’t call for stronger willpower, it calls for deeper dependence on Jesus.

Lets Pray. Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for the gift of a new year and a fresh start. As I look ahead, help me resist the temptation to rely on my own strength, plans, and understanding. Teach me to trust You with all my heart and to seek Your will in everything I do.This year, I choose dependence over determination. I choose prayer over pressure, faith over fear, and obedience over control. Help me to remain in You daily—so that my life produces lasting fruit, not temporary effort. Remind me that apart from You I can do nothing, but with You I have everything I need. Lead my steps, strengthen my faith, and keep my heart aligned with Yours. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.

Depend on Jesus for Daily Strength, Direction, and Wisdom

Depend on Jesus for Daily Strength, Direction, and Wisdom

We live in a culture that worships the self-made person. From a young age, we’re taught that maturity means not needing anyone. Independence is praised. Dependence is often seen as weakness.

And yet, I constantly find myself in this strange internal battle—naturally wanting to do things on my own, only to realize (and be reminded) that there is no way I can do life without Jesus.

A foundational principle of dependence is moving away from self-reliance and learning to trust God daily and not just spiritually, but practically.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.

6 Seek his will in all you do,and he will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5–6

  • The Command: Trust in the Lord with all your heart

  • The Caution: Do not lean on your own understanding

  • The Promise: In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight

Depending on Jesus means trusting His wisdom even when it doesn’t fully make sense yet. He never intended for us to carry life's craziness on our own. When we’re tired, overwhelmed, or stretched thin, Jesus doesn’t say “try harder.” He says “come to Me.”

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

Practical Daily Dependence

Depending on Jesus isn’t just for big spiritual moments, it’s for daily survival and peace.

  • For Anxiety:
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
    1 Peter 5:7

  • For Ability:
For I can do everything through Christ,[
    a] who gives me strength.Philippians 4:13

  • For Rest:
For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light. Matthew 11:30

**Depending on Jesus doesn’t mean trouble won’t come, it means we won’t face it alone.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6–7,

The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
Psalm 28:7

Peace doesn’t come from the absence of storms, but from the presence of Christ.

Main Takeaway

Depending on Jesus means:

  • Trusting Him instead of yourself

  • Leaning on Him when you’re tired

  • Following Him when the path isn’t clear

  • Abiding in Him instead of striving

  • Resting in Him even when life feels heavy

Dependence on Jesus is not weakness—it’s strength.

Let’s Pray. Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for reminding me that I was never meant to do life alone. Forgive me for the moments when I rely more on myself than on You. Teach me to trust You fully, even when I don’t understand the path ahead. Help me to lean on Your strength, rest in Your peace, and follow Your direction daily. I choose dependence over pride and faith over fear. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.

Seeing God Through Every Season

Seeing God Through Every Season

Every New  Year’s Eve my wife and kids get together and reflect on the highlights, the wins, the lessons learned the year and then create vision boards for the new year. We talk about goals, dreams, and what we hope the next season will look like.

What I love most about this tradition is watching how my kids change and mature every year. Their goals shift,  mindset grows and their vision gets clearer. It gives me insight into how they’re thinking, where their hearts are,  and gives me an opportunity to speak wisdom into their lives as they move forward.

Some things on their vision boards stay the same from year to year, but there are always new goals, ideas, and new dreams. And honestly, it’s fun. My wife and I also participate so the kids get to see what Mom and Dad are believing God for as well.

When we’re finished, we pray, thank God for what He’s done, ask for strength moving forward,  eat together, and enjoy the moment. It’s more than an activity—it’s a reminder that life moves in seasons.

The Bible is very clear, seasons are part of God’s design.

For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1

The rest of the verse talks about a time to plant and a time to harvest. A time to build and a time to tear down. A time to mourn and a time to rejoice. Seasons change whether we’re ready or not, but God remains the same through all of them.

Stepping Into a New Season

A fresh start doesn’t mean pretending the past didn’t happen. It means allowing God to redeem it, teach us through it, and move us forward. God often uses previous seasons to prepare us for what’s next.

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28

As you step into a new season, ask yourself:

  • What did God teach me in the last season?

  • What do I need to let go of so I can move forward?

  • Where is God calling me to trust Him more?

  • What seeds do I need to plant now for future growth?

Just like our family’s vision boards, some things may carry over (and that’s okay). Growth doesn’t always mean change in every area. Sometimes it means clarity, maturity, and deeper trust in God.

Lets Pray. Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for every season You allow us to walk through. Thank You for the lessons, the growth, and the grace that carried us through the past year. As we step into a new season, help us to trust You fully, release what no longer serves Your purpose, and walk boldly into what You are doing next. Give us wisdom, peace, and faith for the journey ahead. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.

When We Feel the Need to Impress

When We Feel the Need to Impress

Have you ever noticed how stress seems to show up before something important even happens? Maybe it’s when the boss is coming around at work—or maybe it’s when you’re preparing for an important event, a party, or even just having guests over. Suddenly, there’s more urgency, more tension, and more pressure to make sure everything looks just right.

That feeling has a name. It’s often called anticipatory stress or impression-management stress; the stress that comes from worrying about how we’re being judged or perceived. Whether you’re still working or long retired, this is something nearly all of us can relate to.

I recently found myself in a situation where we were doing the work for my biggest client and they were hosting several very important events for the owners. I could see how everyone was so tense and stressed  because they wanted to do a good job and be approved.  It made me think how easily this same type of pressure can show up in many areas of life, not just at work.

The Bible gives us a freeing perspective and it reminds us that whatever we do, whether it’s work, hosting guests, or serving others; we’re ultimately doing it for the Lord, not for people.

Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Colossians 3:23

When our motivation becomes managing impressions, stress grows. But when our motivation becomes honoring God, peace replaces pressure. We stop striving for perfection and start focusing on faithfulness.

This applies whether you’re leading meetings, planning a celebration, cooking for guests, or simply just opening your home. Excellence in God’s eyes isn’t about flawless presentation—it’s about a willing heart, sincerity, and love.

Don’t let the fear of being judged steal the joy of serving. Trust God.

Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the Lord means safety. Proverbs 29:25

When God becomes the audience of one, excellence becomes consistent and stress loses its power. Whether you’re working or retired, hosting or helping, your service matters to God and that’s what truly counts.

Let’s pray. Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding us that everything we do can be an act of worship. Help us release the pressure to impress others and the fear of being judged. Teach us to serve with joy, humility, and consistency, knowing that You see our hearts. May our lives reflect Your peace in every season. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.

Keeping God First in a Noisy, Distracting World (part 1)

Keeping God First in a Noisy, Distracting World (part 1)

Right now my life is the loudest it's ever been.  New job in a new location, family life, etc.  Trying to navigate can be a bit overwhelming at times as I try to find peace in all the noise. It’s interesting how I know God is here for me but sometimes I have to remind myself the importance of relying on him and not putting the pressures of life on myself.  As usual I run to the Bible for guidance on how to keep God first and stay focused on him when the world is working hard trying to pull you away.

God gave us a very clear roadmap on how to stay centered in Him even when everything else feels chaotic.

  • Start With God Before the Day Starts With You

Seek the Kingdom of God] above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. Matthew 6:33

Starting your day with God sets your spiritual tone.   A prayer, a verse, a devotion, etc.. Even 10 minutes can held shift your mindset. If God gets the first part, He becomes the leading part.

  • Stay Connected All Day — Not Just in the Morning

Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Quick prayers throughout the day like: “Lord guide me” , “ Holy Spirit, help me respond the right way” ….

Small spiritual check-ins can keep your heart aligned with Him in the middle of the day’s noise.

  • Guard Your Heart From What Pulls You Away

Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. Proverbs 4:23

Your heart is shaped by what you consume, ** pay attention to what you watch, listen to and who hang with -  (social media, TV, music, friends etc. ) Guarding your heart means protecting the part of you where God speaks, guides, and strengthens.

  • Stay Filled With the Word

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105

Even a few verses a day will realign your spirit when everything else feels chaotic.

Consistency produces clarity. God’s word anchors, directs, strengthens, and grounds you.

  • Surrender Your Stress — Don’t Carry What God Wants to Hold

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. 1 Peter 5:7

You cannot keep God first when stress is sitting in first place. You cannot keep God first when stress is sitting in first place.

Keeping God first won’t always feel easy especially when life is loud, fast, and full.
Re-align your spirit, quiet the noise, and keep your eyes fixed on Him.

Part 2 will continue with four more powerful steps including :
Kingdom priorities, Godly community, rest, and being led by the Holy Spirit.

Let’s Pray. Dear Heavenly Father, help me  keep you at the center. Help me to seek You first and stay connected to you throughout the day. Please help me  quiet my mind, guard my heart, and fill myself with Your Word. Teach me to rely on You instead of myself. Thank You for being my peace in the middle of life’s chaos.
In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.

Rely on God (Not Yourself)

Rely on God (Not Yourself)

Have you ever had a thought like  “If I don’t figure this out, it won’t get done.” It may not be that you don’t trust God, the issue is that you are trusting yourself more than God. We all heard the saying, If you want something done right, do it yourself. Sometimes it can feel so natural to think this way.  I am so guilty of this.

The self reliant mindset that your work ethic, your problem solving skills, or your strength is completely on your shoulders is not only exhausting, it's against what the Bible teaches.

Don’t overwhelm yourself.  Self-reliance looks confident on the outside, but it’s exhausting on the inside. God never called you to be your own Savior, your own Strength, or your own Source.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. 6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5–6

Your own strength has limits — His doesn’t. Leaning on your own understanding may feel safe sometimes until life hits you with something you can’t handle.

True Strength Begins With Surrender

Start handing over the weight you’re carrying to Him, everyday. Not just your big problems, but the day-to-day decisions. Surrender isn’t weakness — it’s how you activate God’s strength in your life.

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you 1 Peter 5:7

You Can’t Do It Without Him

With Him, you can do everything He calls you to do :Leadership, relationships, your purpose (none of it is meant to be carried alone). Any attempt to produce genuine, lasting spiritual value or to live a Christian life through one's own effort, (separated from Christ) will result in failure ("nothing").

Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.“ Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5

Praying, staying in the Word, and listening to the Holy Spirit is a lifestyle. They’re lifelines that keep your heart connected to your Source. The branch severed from the vine has no power or life of its own.

God Shows His Power When You Admit Your Weakness

It may not be comfortable but don't be afraid to show weakness.

Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

Lastly, make sure you take time to thank the Lord.  Gratitude opens your eyes to how often God is already helping you and it trains your heart to look for Him in everything.

You’re not meant to be the hero of your own story. You’re meant to follow the One who already won. Relying on God doesn’t make you weaker, it makes you wiser, stronger, healthier, and more effective.

When you stop relying on your strength and start relying on Him, everything changes.

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint . Isaiah 40:31

Lets Pray.  Dear Heavenly Father, Forgive me for the times I rely on my own strength more than I rely on You. Teach me to trust You with all my heart. Help me pause instead of panic, pray instead of stress, and listen instead of rushing ahead. Fill me with Your wisdom, Your peace, and Your strength today. Let my life be guided by Your Spirit in everything I do. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.

Vision & Purpose: Maintaining Laser Focus

Vision & Purpose: Maintaining Laser Focus

I recently started a brand-new job in a new location which is very demanding and fast paced.  My previous daily routine is completely out of whack. The rhythm I used to have with prayer, reading, planning, and even basic things all feel like it’s fighting for a place in my new schedule.

As I'm adjusting to this new environment, learning the systems and figuring out new processes (while exciting),  I caught myself asking a very real question: When life gets crazy busy, how do you stay focused, keep God first, and not get sucked into the worldly demands, drama, and noise that come with this transition ?  Right now for me it's the job, but realistically it could be anything like a new relationship (marriage) , health crisis, a baby, financial issues, retirement, etc.

Life changes have a way of shaking our routines and stretching our focus. It's so easy to drift spiritually without even noticing and start relying on your own strength.  The Holy Spirit has been reminding me: If I’m going to thrive (and not just survive) in this new situation I need God’s vision, His purpose, and His presence guiding me every single day.

Here are some key principles to help you stay focused:

1.Purpose Comes From God, (Not Your Circumstances)

Life changes can make you question your identity or purpose but God is the anchor that stabilizes us no matter how much your situation shifts.

You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail. Proverbs 19:21

Our circumstances may change, but your God-given purpose does not.

2. Vision Begins With Staying Close to God

Whenever life gets busy, demanding, or overwhelming, the enemy’s goal is simple: to get you spiritually unfocused.

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires. Psalm 37:4

Staying close to God doesn’t require perfection—it requires consistency. Even when seasons change, God remains your source of clarity.

3. Live Like You’re Doing It for God

Whether you’re navigating a new job, new marriage, new baby, new responsibilities, or new challenges God reminds us:

Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Colossians 3:23

When you shift your mindset to: “I’m doing this for God,” your focus sharpens, your pressure decreases, and your purpose strengthens.

4. Vision Requires Discipline (Not Just Motivation)

Life changes often force us to rebuild our habits. But Scripture teaches:

Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty. Proverbs 21:5

Discipline keeps you aligned with your purpose even when life gets chaotic.

5. Live with the Heart of Jesus

No matter what season you’re in, Jesus is the model of how to handle people, pressure, and purpose.

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for man Mark 10:45

Whether you are leading a team, guiding your family, supporting your spouse, or caring for others—do it with the heart of Christ. Your character strengthens your focus.

6. Keep God First  (Everything else will align)

No matter what season you’re entering, leaving, or adjusting to, God gives us the secret to staying focused:

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. Matthew 6:33

When God is first you gain clarity, peace, your priorities become aligned and your stress decreases. Everything flows from the order you choose.

Lets Pray. Dear Heavenly Father, help me stay focused on the purpose You’ve placed over my life. Give me direction in the midst of change, strength when I feel overwhelmed, and peace when life becomes demanding. Anchor my heart in You so that every step I take honors You. Please guide my decisions, renew my mind, and help me keep You first in everything. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.

God Guarantees His Promises, Not Our Outcomes

God Guarantees His Promises, Not Our Outcomes

The Bible is full of promises that God always keeps; but those promises are tied to His will, His timing, and our obedience, not to the specific results we may want. When God says He will provide, guide, or deliver - He will. But He doesn’t promise that things will happen how or when we expect. His faithfulness guarantees His plan, not our preferences.

God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind.

Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? Numbers 23:19

Obedience Brings Blessing (but Not Always the Way We Imagine)

Obedience is linked to blessing, but the blessing isn’t always material or immediate. Sometimes the “result” God guarantees is spiritual growth, peace, or character development, not necessarily money, a promotion, a win, or a visible success. Results will come in God’s timing and in His way.

Faith means trusting God even when the results don’t look like what we pictured.

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Galatians 6:9

God guarantees provision for your needs (not all of your wants).

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.  Matthew 6:33

God’s Guarantees include:

  • His character (faithfulness, goodness) - Numbers 23:19

  • His presence

This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”Joshua 1:9

  • His written promises

For the word of the Lord holds true, and we can trust everything he does. Psalm 33:4

  • Provision for your needs (not all of your wants) - Matthew 6:33

  • Spiritual growth and eternal reward -

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28

Always trust God in spite of the result you see. Real faith means resting in the truth that God’s plan is better than ours, even when it’s hard to see.

Lets Pray. Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You that You are faithful and true to every promise You’ve spoken. Help me to trust You more. Teach me to find peace in Your will and not in outcomes. Strengthen my faith so that my confidence is in You, not in what I get from You. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.

Grounded and Focused

Grounded and Focused

I recently came across this video online of a guy whose morning routine looked almost perfect. He wakes up at 4 a.m., works out, does some kind of self-care routine, drinks green juice, journals, (etc..) the whole deal. The videos were so well done.  Everything about his day seemed so structured, productive, and kind of impressive.

As I watched, I thought - What if we put the same energy into our spiritual routine? Don’t get me wrong, staying in shape and taking care of your body is important. (In fact, it’s biblical - 1 Corinthians 6:19–20) But my point is that we should be just as intentional in our walk with Christ.

No matter how disciplined your routine is, if God isn’t part of it, your foundation is incomplete.

Whether you wake up at 4 a.m. or 9 a.m., before you lift a weight, lift your heart to God. Being grounded starts with putting God first, not just fitting Him in.

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. Matthew 6:33

Why It’s Important

The world celebrates discipline, productivity, and self-improvement but none of it means much if we’re not spiritually grounded. The enemy doesn’t have to destroy you; he just needs to distract you.

Jesus compared a life built on His words to a house built on solid rock:

“Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Matthew 7:24

When God is your foundation, you can handle life’s storms without falling apart. Don’t build your life on temporary habits or worldly success.

How to Stay Grounded and Focused

  1. Start with the Word - Reading the Bible isn’t just a routine—it’s nourishment. Let God’s Word light the direction of your day before the world tries to.

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105

     2.  Pray Continually - Prayer connects your spirit to God’s power and peace. You don’t need     perfect words, just a consistent heart.

Never stop praying.  1 Thessalonians 5:17

  1. Listen to the Holy Spirit - He is your daily guide, not just your crisis counselor. Before you react, respond, or decide—pause and listen

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. John 16:13
    .

  2. Guard Your Mind.
Whatever fills your mind controls your focus. Replace worry with worship and fear with faith.

Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.    Colossians 3:2

  1. Stay Consistent in Fellowship - Surround yourself with believers who help you stay focused and accountable.

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.  Proverbs 27:17

A grounded believer doesn’t panic when life gets messy, they pray. Don’t drift when things get busy, make time for God - rely on faith. Make decisions based on faith, not fear.

Let your roots grow down into him and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. Colossians 2:7

The Benefits

  • Peace (Philippians 4:7)

  • Wisdom and clarity (James 1:5)

  • Spiritual strength (Isaiah 40:31)

  • Growth in your character (John 15:5)

  • Confidence and stability in every season (Psalm 16:8)

When you stay grounded, you live from a place of spiritual overflow—not spiritual depletion. No matter how strong your routine is, if God isn’t first, your foundation is incomplete.

Let’s Pray. Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for being my firm foundation. Help me to stay grounded in You through Your Word, prayer, and by listening to Your Holy Spirit daily. Keep my heart focused, my mind clear, and my faith unshakable, even when life gets hard. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.
